Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) has said in the Holy Quran:

﴿وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ﴾
[ الذاريات: 56]
English - Sahih International
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
